Leather Care new vehicle with cooled seats

I just purchased a new vehicle with cooled seats (2017 Edge)
I`ve used creams in my previous non cooled seat vehicles. I don`t want to plug the small air holes and was thinking of some kind of cleaner / Protector wipes.
Would love to hear some expert recommendations
Thanks
Lenny

Just use a damp microfiber towel. If you need more for some reason use Griot`s 3in1 leather care. Spray it on the towel and wipe.

I don`t need anything to keep the leather from cracking? I always thought some kind of conditioner was a must.

Mike is correct. If the leather is new then a damp microfiber towel is all that is needed.

With regards to a conditioner. That is completely optional on modern day leather since it is coated.

Another option is to look into a leather protectant. Something like Gyeon Leather Coat. This type of product is essentially a leather sealer.

If you wish to have the maximum level of protection Gyeon Leather Shield and CarPro Cquartz Leather Coating are quartz based coatings. I have reviews on both of these on the forum. With these all that is needed is a damp microfiber towel. Meguiar`s Quik Interior Detailer and McKee`s Fast Interior Detailer work as well. They have a light cleaner but they are not strong enough to remove the coating.

Blockisle9- Welcome to Autopia!

IME most of today`s auto leather doesn`t need much of anything besides cleanliness to stay OK. I hardly *EVER* condition/protect my leather interiors (newest of which is a `01) and they hold up just fine.

I`d probably just use an Interior Quick Detailer on a regular basis (which is what I do on mine 99% of the time). IMO, dirt is your #1 enemy when it comes to leather.
